Why Sell Your Home?

I wonder what the reasons are for you to decide to sell your home. As a homeowner myself, i have lived in my house for 3 years and remember the stressful day i moved in, conveniently banishing any 'moving out' thoughts to the back of my mind. The upheaval of it all is really too much to bear.

With that in mind, i can't understand those that sell up and move on after only a short time in the house. I think some people find it exciting, but i am quite the opposite. With 2 dogs and a rabbit to pack up for starters, moving house is the very last thing on my mind these days!

But then, there are those people that have a genuine reason to move. Perhaps you are starting a family and you need to upgrade your floor space to a house instead of a flat. Or maybe you want to get a pet but can't because of the flat restrictions. If you are intending to move, check out very nook and cranny of the house you might be moving into. I remember my friend moving into a little terraced house and finding a cellar door that she never knew she had! Not only that, but the door was opened by her 2 year old little girl and there were some very steep steps that she nearly fell down. Had my friend checked out the property properly she would have been able to evaluate the cellar and decide if the house was too dangerous to move to. She was in a rush to move out of her flat though, and, personally, i think she made a rash decision.

Be careful when you think about selling your home and make the right choice for your next one.
