Oh my, how stressful is moving house? I have heard a few times that the statistics say that moving house is more stressful than getting married, getting divorced or changing jobs. So why is this the case? Well, moving house just involves so many things all going on at once.

If moving house was just a simple case of "sell up and move" then it would be a dream process. If things ran smoothly, we would embrace the changes as a fresh, new start. You want to make sure your removal plans are in order many weeks prior to the final move. You might find it helpful to write a checklist, just so all the important details are confirmed.

For example, put the date of when the removals are due to take place. The last thing you want to do is write the wrong date down and then find all the rest of your plans have got delayed.
